Louisiana Democratic Party Launches “No More Silence: Road to the Polls”

Statewide Tour to Mobilize Voters Ahead of November Elections “18-city tour featuring U.S. Senate candidate Jamie Davis will conclude with a special appearance by 49th Vice President Kamala D. Harris at the Louisiana Democratic Party’s Masquerade Sneaker Ball”

BATON ROUGE, La. — The Louisiana Democratic Party today announced the launch of its statewide “No More Silence: Road to the Polls” Teach & Vote Tour, a grassroots organizing initiative that will bring Democratic leaders directly into communities across Louisiana to educate, organize, register voters, and build momentum ahead of the November elections.

The tour officially begins on Saturday, July 11, featuring Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jamie Davis alongside local elected officials, Democratic leaders, community advocates, labor leaders, educators, faith leaders, and grassroots organizers. Together, they will engage voters across the state, encourage civic participation, and strengthen Democratic organizing efforts in communities large and small.

The “No More Silence” Tour is designed to equip residents with information about voting rights, voter registration, election participation, and the issues impacting Louisiana families. The initiative will also help establish local volunteer teams that will continue organizing and mobilizing voters through Election Day.

“This tour is about meeting people where they are,” said Louisiana Democratic Party Chair Randal Gaines. “For too long, too many communities across Louisiana have felt unheard and overlooked.  We’re taking our message directly into neighborhoods because democracy is strongest when every voice is heard. The Louisiana Democratic Party is committed to organizing in every parish, engaging every community, and fighting for every vote.”

Throughout the tour, Jamie Davis will lead conversations about his vision for Louisiana’s future while encouraging voters to become active participants in shaping the direction of the state.  “Our campaign believes meaningful change begins with conversations in our communities,” Davis said. “We’re traveling across Louisiana because every voter matters, every community deserves to be heard, and together we can build a stronger future for our state.”
